Hakkoda Snowshoe Experience Tour

Duration: Approx. 2–3 hours

Experience the incredible winter scenery of the Hakkoda Mountains, one of Japan’s snowiest regions!

Walk through deep, fluffy powder snow on snowshoes and enjoy the beautiful winter landscape. No previous snowshoe experience is required, so beginners are very welcome.

A professional guide will accompany you throughout the tour, and snowshoes and poles are included.

During the tour, we’ll also make a table and chairs out of snow and enjoy a snack break surrounded by the snowy landscape!

9:45 AM – Meet your guide
The meeting point will be decided on the day depending on weather and snow conditions.

• Tour briefing and safety instructions

• Snowshoe hike (approx. 2–3 hours)

• Explore the snowy landscape

• Snack break at our handmade snow table and chairs

• Finish at the tour location

The tour will normally operate in light rain or snow.

The tour may be cancelled in the event of strong winds, heavy rain, or other unsafe conditions. If the tour is cancelled, we will contact you the day before or on the day of the tour.
